Returns the number of periods for an investment.

What it does

Calculates the number of periods for an investment based on periodic payments and constant interest.

Syntax

NPER(rate, pmt, pv, [fv], [type])

Arguments

  • rate(number) β€” Interest rate per period.
  • pmt(number) β€” Payment per period.
  • pv(number) β€” Present value.
